Agreement to Terms

By installing and using the Fragment Shopify app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

Service Description

Fragment is a headless content management system (CMS) for Shopify stores that allows merchants to create, manage, and deploy announcements and hero banners across their store pages using the Fragment Headless SDK.

User Responsibilities

By using Fragment, you agree to the following responsibilities:

  • You retain full ownership of the data and content you create within the app
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create complies with applicable laws and Shopify's policies
  • You will not use the service for any unlawful or prohibited activities
  • You will not attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

📦 SDK Integration

Fragment provides the fragment-headless-sdk for seamless integration with your headless Shopify storefront:

  • React Components — Pre-built Announcement and Hero components for immediate use in your storefront
  • TypeScript Support — Full type definitions for all interfaces and components
  • API Integration — Secure fetchResource utility for retrieving published content
  • Responsive Design — Mobile-first components with Tailwind CSS styling

🔒 Data Collection and Usage

Fragment collects and uses only the minimum necessary data to operate:

  • Shop Information (e.g., shop domain, access scopes) — used to securely associate your store with the app
  • Content Data (e.g., announcements, hero banners) — stored securely to allow you to manage and render your content
  • API Keys — Generated for secure access to your published content via the SDK
  • Session Data — temporary data for authentication and app functionality
  • No customer data is collected, stored, or shared

Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

All data is transmitted securely using encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with industry-standard security measures.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

  • Improve, modify, or discontinue the app at any time
  • Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
  • Temporarily suspend service for security or technical reasons

Intellectual Property

Fragment, the fragment-headless-sdk, and all original content, features, and functionality are owned by SevenbrandLLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

The fragment-headless-sdk is provided under the MIT License, allowing you to use, modify, and distribute it in your projects while maintaining attribution to SevenbrandLLC.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Fragment, SevenbrandLLC, or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Fragment immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Support

Support is provided on a best-effort basis via email or the support channels listed in the app. We aim to respond to support requests within 48 hours during business days.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such modifications will constitute acknowledgment and agreement to the modified terms.
